Refund & Cancellation Policy
Restore Your Inner Balance — Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are handled for sessions, programmes and services.
Last updated: December 2025
This policy is designed to keep the process clear, fair and respectful for both clients and practitioner. When you book or purchase any service with Restore Your Inner Balance, you are agreeing to the terms set out below.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services offered by Restore Your Inner Balance, including but not limited to:
- Individual coaching or consultancy sessions
- 6- or 8-week coaching programmes or bundles
- Career & Clarity Coaching
- CV Writing & Interview Coaching
- Education Consultancy
- Rebuilding Confidence & Life Direction (women only)
2. Single Sessions (1:1 Appointments)
A “single session” refers to a one-off 1:1 appointment booked on a specific date and time.
-
Cancelling with at least 48 hours’ notice:
If you cancel your session with 48 hours or more notice before the scheduled start time, you may request a refund or transfer your payment to a new session date, subject to availability. -
Cancelling with less than 48 hours’ notice:
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, the session is non-refundable. -
Non-attendance (“no-show”):
If you do not attend your session without prior notice, the session is non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
3. Programmes and Bundles (e.g. 6- or 8-Week Packages)
Programmes and bundles involve multiple sessions reserved for you over a defined period (for example, 6 or 8 weeks). To ensure space is honoured for you and other clients, the following terms apply:
-
Before the first session:
You may request a full refund of the programme or bundle fee before the first session has taken place. -
After the programme has started:
Once the first session has been delivered, your programme or bundle becomes non-refundable, as time, preparation and recurring session slots have been reserved specifically for you. -
Rescheduling individual sessions within a programme:
You may usually reschedule individual sessions within a programme with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Repeated rescheduling may limit the ability to complete the programme within the original time frame.
4. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to a session, the session will still end at the scheduled time and cannot be extended, in order to respect other clients’ appointments. The full session fee will still apply.
5. Changes or Cancellations by Restore Your Inner Balance
In rare circumstances (for example, illness, emergency or unavoidable technical issues), Restore Your Inner Balance may need to reschedule or cancel a session or programme date.
- You will be offered an alternative date/time where possible; or
- If a suitable alternative cannot be found, you may be offered a partial or full refund for the affected session(s), as appropriate.
We will always aim to give as much notice as reasonably possible.
6. Digital Resources and Preparation Work
From time to time, you may receive digital resources, feedback, CV edits, interview notes or other written materials as part of your service.
Where substantial work has already been carried out (for example, a completed CV rewrite or detailed interview preparation), refunds may not be available even if the live session has not yet taken place. This will be considered on a case-by-case basis and clearly communicated.
7. Payment Plans and Instalments
If a payment plan or instalment option is offered for a programme or bundle:
- You agree to make payments on the agreed dates.
- Failure to keep up with payments may result in sessions being paused or cancelled until payments are brought up to date.
- If you choose to withdraw from a programme that has already started, any outstanding instalments may still be due, in line with the non-refundable policy once the programme begins.
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a concern about payments, sessions or services, you are encouraged to contact us first at enquiries@restoreyourinnerbalance.co.uk so that we can work with you to resolve the issue.
Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback without first allowing a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter may affect our willingness to work together in future.
9. How to Request a Refund or Change
To request a refund, cancellation or reschedule, please contact: enquiries@restoreyourinnerbalance.co.uk and include:
- Your full name
- The service or programme you purchased
- The date and time of the appointment (if applicable)
- Whether you are requesting a refund, reschedule or other change
Requests will be reviewed in line with this policy, and we aim to respond as promptly as possible.
10. Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to override your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Where applicable, your legal rights will take precedence.
11. Changes to This Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements or best practice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be adjusted when changes are made.
