The terms that govern how you work with Restore Your Inner Balance for coaching, consultancy and related services.

By booking, purchasing or using any service from Restore Your Inner Balance, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use our services.
1. Who We Are
Restore Your Inner Balance (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-based coaching and consultancy service providing:
- Career Confidence & Clarity Coaching
- CV Writing & Interview Coaching
- Education Consultancy
- Rebuilding Confidence & Life Direction (women only)
Restore Your Inner Balance is a UK-based coaching and consultancy service providing career coaching, education consultancy and wellbeing support.
2. Scope of Services
Our services are designed to offer guidance, reflection and strategy in areas such as career, confidence, education decisions and life direction. This may include online sessions, in-person sessions (Manchester only), WhatsApp support, online journals and email correspondence.
Our services are not medical, psychological, psychiatric or financial advice and do not replace therapy, counselling, medical treatment or crisis services. Where appropriate, you may be encouraged to seek support from a qualified healthcare or mental health professional.
3. Eligibility and Appropriate Use
Restore Your Inner Balance provides coaching and consultancy services primarily for adults. However, career guidance and education-related services may also be accessed on behalf of young people under the age of 18.
By using our services, you confirm that:
- Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian book services on their behalf.
- The parent or guardian remains responsible for the booking, payments and communication.
- Any session involving a client under 18 will be delivered in a safeguarding-appropriate way, either with the parent/guardian present or with prior written consent.
- Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, mental health treatment, or crisis services.
- You will not use services for unlawful, abusive or harmful purposes.
The “Rebuilding Confidence & Life Direction” service is still available for women only.
4. Bookings, Payments and Pricing
All bookings are made via our online booking or checkout systems. Prices are clearly stated on the relevant service or programme page and may be updated from time to time.
Payment is normally required in advance to secure your appointment or programme place. We may use third-party payment providers (such as Shopify, PayPal, Klarna or Clearpay) for processing payments. By completing a purchase, you also agree to any applicable terms of those providers.
Any promotional offers or payment plans will be clearly described on the service page and are offered at our discretion.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
To keep the service fair and sustainable for both clients and practitioner, we follow a clear cancellation and refund policy. A summary is provided below; full details are set out in the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- Single sessions: Refunds are available if you cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice before your appointment time. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, or non-attendance, are non-refundable.
- Programmes and bundles (e.g. 6- or 8-week packages): A full refund is available before the first session has taken place. Once the programme has started, the package becomes non-refundable, as appointments and time have been reserved specifically for you.
- Rescheduling: Individual sessions can usually be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

6. Communication Channels
Sessions and follow-up may take place via:
- Online video calls
- Telephone
- In-person (Manchester only, where agreed)
- WhatsApp messages and voice notes
- Online journalling tools (where provided)
While we aim to respond to messages within a reasonable timeframe, out-of-session messages (e.g. WhatsApp or email) are not a crisis or emergency service.
7. Confidentiality and Safeguarding
Information shared in sessions is treated with discretion and respect. However, there are some circumstances where confidentiality may need to be broken, including where:
- There is a serious and immediate risk of harm to you or another person.
- There is information relating to the abuse of a child or vulnerable adult.
- We are required by law, regulation or court order to disclose information.

8. Results and No Guarantees
Coaching and consultancy can be powerful, but outcomes will vary by individual. Your progress depends on many factors, including your personal circumstances, actions, and external conditions.
While Restore Your Inner Balance is committed to providing high-quality, professional support, we do not guarantee specific results such as job offers, income levels, academic outcomes or particular emotional states.
9. Intellectual Property
All written materials, exercises, worksheets, frameworks, emails, session content, website text, branding and graphics provided by Restore Your Inner Balance are protected by intellectual property law.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own development only. You may not copy, share, republish, distribute or use them commercially without prior written consent.
10. Technology, Availability and Changes to Services
While we strive to maintain reliable services, we cannot guarantee that online platforms, scheduling tools or communication channels will always be free from interruption, delay or error. In the event of technical difficulties, sessions may be rescheduled or adapted where reasonable.
We may update, pause or discontinue certain services, pricing or availability from time to time. Existing bookings will be honoured or refunded in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Restore Your Inner Balance will not be liable for:
- Any indirect, consequential or incidental loss or damage.
- Loss of income, profits, opportunities or reputation.
- Decisions you make or actions you take based on coaching discussions or materials.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you have paid for the relevant service.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Feedback and Complaints
We welcome feedback and take concerns seriously. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact: enquiries@restoreyourinnerbalance.co.uk in the first instance so that we can work with you to resolve the issue wherever possible.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, law or best practice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the services after any update indicates that you accept the revised Terms.
